Getting on the air

My current mobile setup includes an AnyTone AT-779UV VHF/UHF transceiver, a Diamond MR-77 dual-band magnetic-mount aerial and a programming lead. These are a starting point for practical operating and learning.

My amateur radio callsign is M3JWK.

PLANNED / HOME STATION

Developing the shack

I'm exploring a more extensive base station with HF, VHF and UHF capability, suitable antennas, careful cable routing, power supply arrangements and test equipment.

The Yaesu FT-991A and several antenna configurations are among the possibilities under consideration, not equipment claimed to be installed.
